Demonstrative Adjectives

Demonstrative Adjectives

Demonstrative adjectives in Spanish are used to point out specific nouns.

They must agree in gender and number with the noun they modify.

They describe distance from the speaker.

-Este café está delicioso. → This coffee is delicious.

-Esa playa es hermosa. → That beach is beautiful.

-Aquellos monumentos son históricos. → Those monuments (over there) are historic.
